I still haven’t got a clue what I’m doing with this whole blogging thing AND I’M LATE…

In other news, positive moves made this week. My SIM only contract was up for renewal so I decided to swap from Vodafone to Three.

My monthly payment has dropped from £21 to 10 saving me £132 per year and on top of that I used TopCashBack and received £55 cash back!

Nothing much more to comment on so I’m signing off here.

And so it finally begins, 5 days late but as they say… Better late than never.

So who am I…

I’m Matt, I’m 26 years old and I’m currently training to become a charted tax adviser.

My aim is add an About Me page once I get the hang of the everything so expect to see wonderful picture of me very shortly.

Why have I decided to create this blog…

2019 was goings swimmingly well… New house, new job, new car and the birth of my beautiful little girl B.

But I had to f*ck it all didn’t I.

I got suckered in to a get rich Forex scheme which was literally the most ridiculous and irresponsible thing I’ve even done in my life. I’m now £25k in the deep being charged 13% interest for an added bonus.

What are my plans going forward…

Money

• Figure out how to get out of this mess as quickly as possible.Create a plan to get myself to FI maybe FIRE but we shall see.

Work

• Complete my chartership in 2020. Get a promotion, this is in line with gaining my chartership as promotion is essentially a dead cert once chartered.

Blog

• Weekly/monthly updates. Learn how to actually blog properly.
  And for now, that is that. First blog post created and published what an achievement.

I shall be back on Sunday with a weekly update of any movement in my finances as well as this blog!
